Bybit regains its place in France
In France, the regulatory troubles targeting the crypto exchange Bybit are almost complete. The co-founder and CEO of Bybit Ben Zhou announced that the platform has been removed from the blacklist of AMF. Bybit is now working on obtaining a license MiCA.
BYBIT is now officially removed from the French AMF blacklist. MiCA license to follow.

Coinpri was able to verify and confirm that indeed Bybit was no longer on the so-called blacklist. The crypto exchange had been on the list since May 2022 for failing to register as a digital asset service provider (DASP) with the regulator. Last May, a new warning was issued by the AMF against Bybit. The Exchange had to suspend the integration of new users before inviting its French customers to withdraw their funds.
Bybit was not the only crypto exchange blacklisted by the French securities regulator (AMF). Its competitor Bitget was also on the list and managed to get away with it. Like Bybit, Bitget is actively seeking a MiCA license and hopes to obtain one this year.
